Nestled at the base of the Rooiberg Mountains, with a beautiful long river frontage onto the Breede, this piece of land has been giving its inhabitants a secluded refuge from city life for many decades.

Farmed using biodynamic methods, the land has been producing multi award winning olive oil for over a decade, placing it consistently in the top ten in the country.

The farm is comprised of three dwellings and all the infrastructure needed to produce the oil. The main home is double story and embraces the Karoo colours, with a strong Moroccan influence. The wrap around verandas allow for a wonderful place to escape the heat and entertain and the home opens onto a beautiful lemon tree courtyard, centred around a fountain. A lap pool allows for some Olympic training, should farm labour not be your idea of fun or you need to cool off from the Karoo heat. In winter the home is easily made cosy with two fireplaces keeping it warm.

The guest cottage is a short walk from the main house and is a well loved escape for those wanting a few nights in the country. It sleeps eight, with all four bedrooms having on suite bathrooms. The cottage has its own pool and a circular stone fire pit, from which to enjoy a drink and watch the stars.

In addition to these two homes, there is a two bedroom farm manager's house and ample accommodation for farm workers next door.

The farming infrastructure comprises a state of the art press, housed in its own warehouse, an olive sorting and distribution warehouse, as well as a warehouse for the farm equipment.

The trees are all drip irrigated and the farm has ample water rights. Approximately 16 ha are 50% Frantoio, 30% Leccino and 20% Coratina. About 1 ha is under Mission (table olives).

The farm is fully off the grid, with a powerful solar system and inverters.

The owners have put energy into this land and it has rewarded them with a most satisfying veggie garden and many happy days canoeing down the river.
