Nestled along the pristine shores of Mozambique, this beachfront lodge is situated 70km north of Xai-Xai in the village of Chidenguele on 8.1 hectares of land, with 412 meters sea front and embodies the epitome of tropical luxury. With its idyllic location, where the azure waters of the Indian Ocean meet the powdery white sands, guests are invited to indulge in a tranquil retreat surrounded by natural beauty. The land is on 49 year lease agreement and renewable after 49 years. Accessible preferably by 4x4 or 2x4 with diff lock vehicles to the Lodge.
The lodge boasts a collection of elegantly appointed accommodations, each designed to harmonize with the coastal environment while offering modern comforts and amenities. The Lodge has 12 charming wooden houses that are built with local simbiri wood; some with sea view and other are protected from the sea breezes.
There are two sea view houses and one protected house behind the dune with own sparkling swimming pools. All the houses have their own bathrooms. The Houses in the Lodge consists of 2 sleepers, 4 sleepers, 6 sleepers, 8 Sleepers and a 10 sleeper. Manager unit is also available. The lodge can accommodate 62 guests in total.
The building of a restaurant has been started but not yet completed, with a swimming pool, bar area with separate restaurant area, big deck overlooking the sea.
To add to this...the amazing new Airport, Filipe Jacinto Nyusi Airport is perfectly situated in the province and located 30km from Xai-Xai, where one could fly into FJN and enjoy a stunning beach vacation. At present the airport has two scheduled commercial flights, Mondays and Fridays.
This picturesque lodge offers the following;
- Vodacom Booster tower on the property.
- Roads on the resort are all completed.
- Electricity with a 50kva Transformer and a 50kva backup Generator with Automatic Start on/off switch system. Proper distributions of 3 phase electricity over the Lodge with feeding cables and distribution boxes throughout the Lodge.
- Two bore holes that are equipped and with a backup water pit. Water pumps are all installed with pipes, storage tanks and automatic full up switching. Water points to all the houses - storage of 10 litre of water.
- Big workshop of +/- 340m for storing equipment/tools, boat and trailer storage with lock up doors.
- Staff dressing rooms with bathrooms attached for male and female.
- Linen store room and ice/room area with a (300kg/ 24 hour) ice machine and small reception which is self-standing.
- Gym room 6/5 meter with mirrors (no gym equipment).
- Fish cleaning area with cement table and water.
- Old tractor with a 4m trailer for everyday use at the lodge.
